Building Students' Number Sense

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

When students struggle with number sense, they often have difficulty understanding number relationships.  There are strategies that we can use to encourage students to make sense of numbers so they can solve mathematical problems.  This session will focus on improving mental calculation, judging relative magnitude of numbers, place value, estimation, and problem solving.

For teachers of students grades 3-8.
