I teach Music at Hiawatha School. I also direct our Hiawatha Chorus, Recorder Club, Ukulele Club and Xylophone Band. I coach the Readers Theatre for the District 100 Speech and Drama Team. I also have either directed or music directed the Berwyn School District 100 musical for 8 years. I love my job and all my work in District 100. My many, many children invigorate me and are wonderful singers, musicians, dancers, and actors. I was the Theatre and Choral teacher at Trinity High School before coming to Hiawatha, Emerson, Piper, and Komensky. I have also music directed theatre at Walther High School, Morton College and St. Louis de Merrillac Players. I have a wonderful daughter and son-in-law. I am thrilled to be the grandmother of two darling granddaughters who delight me. I love to sing, dance, play piano, read, write, compose music, garden, hike and sew. I enjoy theatre, history, geography, art, music and studying languages and cultures. I enjoy learning about technology and using it in my classroom when we're not folk dancing , singing, drumming, or playing instruments . I am a good listener so you can talk to me about anything.
